DAYTON, WY AND THE BIG HORN MOUNTAINS
 

  • Dayton is a small (~1,000 pop) western town in Northern Wyoming at the base of the Big Horn mountains. These mountains are home to a variety of outdoor activities including wildlife viewing, hiking, swimming, fishing and camping.

  

  • The town has the feel reminiscent of ‘small town America’.  There is a grocery store/gas station, several art galleries, a school, community center, a hair salon, a restaurant, two bars, and no stop lights. And

       it is all within minutes of the spectacular Tongue River Canyon. 
 

EXACTLY WHERE IS DAYTON:

  • Billings, MT, with the closest major airport is 1:45 minutes to the Northwest. 

  • Sheridan, WY, the closest town is approximately 25 minutes away.          There you will find most major stores and amenities. Sheridan County Airport has connecting flights to and from Denver.

  • Cody, WY, is approximately 2 hours from Dayton. 

  • The Yellowstone National Park entrance is approximately 4 hours away.
